In 2025, Rihga Royal Hotel Osaka marked its 90th anniversary with a large-scale renovation under the concept of “Fusion of Traditional Beauty and Water.”

In the first-floor reception area, a bespoke Nishijin-ori textile by HOSOO is installed, inspired by the flowing water of Nakanoshima. Utilizing the technique of fukurashi-ori , the textile delicately expresses both the power and beauty of water, enriching the welcoming atmosphere with subtle depth.
